Sailfish Action Deep Sea Fishing

June 7th, 2008

Brad Henderson and his family from Fort Myers went fishing in the afternoon aboard the LP II today. We ran straight out to 150 feet of water, put out two planters with fresh strips and three surface baits. A kingfish struck the line weighing in at 10 lbs, and a bonito weighed in anywhere from 10-15 lbs. We put all lines back out and got a sailfish bite right away. He ate the left short and jumped 300 yards. We reeled the 78" sailfish in and put our spread right back out. Our planter rod bent over, and we noticed two sails on the troll. Brad and his family also caught fresh blackfin tuna to take home for dinner. Fishing was unbelievable today, literally.

Tight Lines!
