Lito Sheppard of the Philidelphia Eagles aboard the LP II Can't Post

Lito Sheppard of the Philiadelphia Eagles, Chris Baker of the New York Jets and thier buddy Jack from Excel Auto came fishing aboard the Frequent Flyer II this morning in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They were all in the mood for fresh fish for dinner, so we headed out the Intracoastal with live bait in the well, ready to catch enough for left overs. Conditions were in our favor for kite fishing today. We headed about a mile offshore, popped the kites on the edge in 120 ft of water with a rippin north current and a steady east wind. Within 40 minutes we hooked a nice size Atlantic Sailfish, had to be about 4 1/2 ft. Lito called first dibs. He hopped in the fighting chair, fought him for about 15 minutes, then pulled the hook.

Wreck fishing was next on the list, but we need live bonitos first. After slamming those, we started hitting every wreck up and down the coast. The 5th wreck we stopped at, we got a bite. Chris Baker was up, but within minutes our second fish of the day pulled the hook. We made a pit stop at the Lighthouse ledge before heading back towards Lauderdale, and good thing we did. It didn't take us long at the ledge. Baker was hooked within minutes and fought this giant Barracuda for a half an hour.

Tight Lines!
