Deep Sea Fishing and drift fishing on the Sea Legs III has been fantastic! As the winds slow and the sea calms the fish seem to crave any bait that is thrown to their direction. We have been loading up on Vermillion Snappers during the day. We have been catching our limit during the first hour or two of most of our trips this week. Then it's off to catch other predator fish. Such as the King Mackeral, Wahoo, Dolphin or the occasional Sail fish. We brought a nice Wahoo weighing close to 30lbs and a 57 lb. Cobia that hit a Vermillion on a chicken rig.
Deep Sea Fishing September on Sea Legs III
Night trips have been great as well as the yellow tail bite keeps a steady flow to our staple. Most of the deep sea fishing enthusiast will take home thier limit of yellow tails and Mutton Snappers have been hitting light lines and small Yellow tail jigs.
What ever boat you choose to fish on, you will be amazed at the abundance and quality of fish brought in. As long as you have a experienced that can take you to that perfect deep sea fishing reef or the deep sea wreck that will have your rods bend and your reel screaming!
