We had another great day on the water today. Deep sea fishing in Fort Lauderdale is still going strong.
Fort Lauderdale Fishing - Catching Everything
We had an all day trip today and the first thing our client asked us was “what are we fishing for today?”
Simply put (this time of year) the best answer is “what do you want to catch”, and the reply didn’t surprise me.
“Everything” he said. So off we went… We started out the day catching a limit of King Mackeral on the reef and then
we moved out a little further. After some searching around we found the tuna. After catching 14 tunas we put the
kites up for some exciting kite fishing. Not even 15 minutes into kite fishing we hooked up with a sailfish and a
mahi mahi at the same time and with some luck we landed them both. Towards the end of our trip we decided to slow troll the reef again and somehow managed to catch a nice surprise. BLACK GROUPER on the line. Though groupers are good to eat they must be released during certain times of the year.
