Fort Lauderdale's Top Charter Boat Fishing Report Can't Post

June 7th, 2008

Jeff Botwin and his family came all the way from Tampa to go deep sea fishing at 7 AM aboard the Lady Pamela II. Jeff owns his own boat on the west coast of Florida, where they have to run 30 miles to get to the same depth of water where we only have to run 1 mile, he was pretty impressed. We started off the morning, bright and early, doing some trolling. It was a constant bite, one after another. Kingfish, bonito, kingfish, bonito non stop. Two hours of trolling was enough for them. It was time to go kite fishing. Live goggs really turn those sailfish on. Two sailfish swam up to the right short, one bit the bait and started to take a jump then spit the hook. Not too long after, a hammerhead shark raced in and ate our kingfish bait. It was an awesome day on the water.

Tight Lines!
